Rainwater Harvesting

Rainwater Harvesting is the collection of rainwater that falls on the roof of your home or building and then capturing it within a tank.

As the rainwater enters the tank, all leaves, moss and other debris that may be travelling with it is filtered out. Once collected, the rainwater is now available to be extracted by a variety of methods and reused on your garden.

We offer a select few options for rainwater harvesting tanks from GrafUK:

Platin Tank

The Platin flat rainwater tank was specially developed for rainwater harvesting. It is available in sizes of between 1,500 and 7,500 l. A low installation depth is needed, therefore, a short installation time and low costs are granted.

Less Digging, Less Work, Less Cost!

  • Minimum installation depth, which translates into short installation time and low costs.
  • Suitable for driveways and vehicle loading.
  • Groundwater stable.
  • Compact filter technology integrated in the tank.
  • Low maintenance and self-cleaning.
  • Optional internal cleaning unit.
  • Transparent cover for easier inspection of filter.

Carat Tank

The new tank generation of Carat rainwater underground tanks has been specially developed for rainwater harvesting.

The GRAF Carat S underground tank is unlike any other underground tank in the world. It is the largest tank of its kind to be manufactured by injection compression moulding. This technique provides the tank with unbeatable stability and ensures that each component is produced with the highest accuracy. Unlike other underground tanks, the wall thickness is equal in all areas of the tank. The production tolerances are kept to a minimum, resulting in a product of the highest quality, which is strong, accurate, reliable and extremely user-friendly. To manufacture the Carat S range, one of the worlds largest injection moulding systems had to be developed.

The GRAF Optimax-Pro filter is specially designed to be used in the GRAF Carat S underground tank:

  • Compact filter technology integrated in the tank.
  • Low maintenance, self-cleaning.
  • Optional internal cleaning unit.
  • Transparent cover for easier inspection of filter.
  • Water yield of over 95%.

Both tanks also come with XL options.
